Thankful..

As I have been flip flopping around on blogs that I have been lucky to find, I saw a couple had the same theme... Being thankful..  I thought I'd join in.

I am so very thankful that I have my health.  I lost my dad when he was 41.  My lovely mom is about to turn 75 next year.  I am grateful that at 53 I am still around and healthy.

I am thankful that I have a family that loves me. (and I love very much!)  I have great son-in laws and an adorable little grandson.  I am blessed!

I'd like to introduce you to my family!
Here is my hubby and 2 year old

Then we have my oldest (28 year old) Linz .. this was taken at her bridal shower (why yes, that is a condom corsage)

This is Blair... she got maried a couple two years ago.  She and her husband just recently got back from a mission trip to Haiti
and last but not least... Baby Russell... my little grandson :)

I am very grateful for my day job and that our home businesses Storks and More and Flamingo Nightmares are doing well enough.  Also thankful that it's the holiday season coming up and my other home biz Santa's Secretary has a following (but always room for more!)

I am thankful that my friends appreciate my quirky sense of humor.... one that my 2 year old seems to have as well.  Oh my, I am in for it when she gets older!

On a selfish note... I am thankful that I have stumbled upon Mom Bloggers Club thus many others from that connection.   The way I see it, I am making a whole lot of new friends!

Yes, I am very blessed and thankful!  How about you?

Let me start by saying you have a beautiful family! It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day grind and lose sight of what is truly important, which for mamy people is family. When you can step back for a moment and actually "SEE" all of the blessings and all of the things that are "RIGHT" in the world, then you are truly living. Being thankful, and just feeling that sensation even for the smallest thing, can completely turn your day around! Great post!

Warm Regards,

I love Mom Bloggers Club!! So you have a little one and a grandson at the same time? That is so cool! I always tease my mom that she is not too old to get pregnant again and she shudders at the thought of "starting over" hehe - that and she had her tubes tied after my sister so it would be miraculous to say the least. I think it would be fun, but probably a little dangerous for her so I hope it does not happen. :) Anyway, I am your newest follower!

Hi Cindy - I love your attitude in life! You have a beautiful family, how cool is that you have a grandson and a 2-yo!

You left an inspiring comment on my blog and I'm thankful to connect with you! It's great you have a job and run 3 home businesses with you husband. The yard greetings business looks intriguing - I've not personally come across one before.

You have a new follower! Both Google Friend and Networked Blogs :) Have a great Friday!

Hi Cindy!
It's Ann popping in from RAnnDomized :-) I love that you took the time to write this post; so many people tend to focus on the negative rather then the positive. Your family is beautiful, and I particularly enjoyed seeing the photos of your two jeeps - I think my fav is the Barbie jeep ;-)

Hey Cindy! thanks for your amazing comment. I LOVE this blog post so much! it's such a reminder to what's important. You have a beautiful family. How awesome that your daughter & her husband were able to go on a mission trip to Haiti. My husband and I would love to go on one someday, Lord willing.

I popped in via your comment on my blog's "niche-less" post. Thank you.

You have a LOT going on and a lot to be thankful for. Your family is precious.

By the way, I'm impressed with your big girl attitude about selling the Jeep. I'm sure you will be blessed for it.

I'm still learning about all the social networking and blogging stuff and I did appreciate your comment.
